Sami Lawler has over thirty years of experience as a preschool and elementary school teacher. Her work in the children's room of the public library deepened her understanding of how children perceive their world and learn. Jack Lawler is a scientist and medical school professor with over 200 contributions to scientific literature. His passion for children's literature grew from reading to their three sons. Sami and Jack are part-time residents of Edgartown and sailing enthusiasts.
