Dave Mercaldo is an NYC school librarian and educator. A proud MVRHS alumnus (Class of '05) who taught at every school on Martha's Vineyard before moving to New York, Dave has long coached and run summer camps on the Island. His debut novel, A Weekend at GRAMPS ’97, honors his grandfather, a longtime Vineyard resident born on the Fourth of July who cherished the Edgartown parade and fireworks, Jaws filming history, and browsing Edgartown Books.
