As part of the end-of-year celebration of the JAWS 50th Anniversary — and a special Christmas in Edgartown event, two well-versed authors in all things JAWS, will be visiting the store on Saturday, December 13.

Dennis L. Prince, the author of JOE ALVES:: DESIGNING JAWS and JOE ALVES: ADVENTURES IN FILM DESIGN, will sign copies of his books with signed bookplates by Joe Alves and special bookmarks on hand. DESIGNING JAWS captures the legendary American film production designer’s view into the development of the world-renowned film and include Alves’ stunning pre-production illustrations. ADVENTURES IN FILM DESIGN is an illustrated comprehensive biography of Joe Alves.

Author Matt Taylor’s Jaws: Memories From Martha's Vineyard, offers a nostalgic and personal glimpse into the making of the iconic film JAWS.
